DON KENNETH LANSING
Don Kenneth Lansing, 90, of Lynn Haven, died Friday, November 10, 2006 at a local hospital. He was born on August 29, 1916 in North Pine Creek, Oregon. He was a retired contractor and part owner of Golf Discount Center. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Panama City. Mr. Lansing is survived by his wife of 36 years, Vera Dawsey Lansing, son, Kenneth Lansing and his wife, Freida, of Memphis, Tennessee, daughters, Sarah "Cissy" Moriarty and her husband, Charles, of Cumming, Georgia, Donna Plumer of Memphis, Tennessee, and Tracie Young and her husband, Alan, of Knoxville, Tennessee, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, nephew and niece, Ronald and Peggy Rhodes, of Birmingham, Alabama. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Clyde Ellison and Ken Lansing officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 – 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity in memory of Don Lansing.
