Don Mikle Coram, 69, of Panama City Beach, FL passed away on Friday March 25, 2016. He was born August 4, 1946 in Panama City to Lloyd Paul & Alma Mae Starling Coram. Don served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Deputy Sheriff for the Bay County Sheriff's Department and Panama City Police Department for over 20 years. He was the founding owner and operator of the Coram's West Restaurant. Don was an avid FSU fan and "Go Noles". He was a member of the Pythagoras Masonic Lodge #358 where he was a former Worshipful Master. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Coram and two brothers, Willard Coram and Joe Coram. He is survived by three children, Angela Coram (Nelson Moya); Sara Coram, Harley Coram; 2 grandchildren, Chad Coram, Abbie Coram; brother, Charlie Coram (Linda); three sisters, Pauline Conlan, Jeanette Purvis (Jimmy), Charlene Edwards and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service.
