DESSIE MORRIS CREWS
Dessie Morris Crews passed away Thursday, May 31, 2007 in Atlanta. She had been a resident of Panama City since 1929 before moving to Atlanta to live with her son in 2003. She was born in Highland Home, Alabama to William & Eldora Morris. She was retired from First Federal Savings & Loan in Panama City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Martin Crews Sr., who owned Men's Style Center. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Panama City. She is survived by a son, H.M. Crews Jr. of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Elizabeth Colley and husband, Mike of Burke, VA, and 2 grandsons, Rob Colley and Greg Colley. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 4, 2007 at 1 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church of Panama City with Rev. David Warren officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, June 3, 2007 from 3-5 p.m. Those desiring may make a contribution to the First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund in memory of Dessie Crews.
