Delphia "Faye" Folds, aged 88, passed away on November 17 ^th , 2022.  She and her husband, Don, enjoyed 67 years of happy marriage residing in Panama City from the early 1960s until 1995 when they moved to Woodstock, Georgia, and then to Panama City Beach this year.  Faye is survived by husband, Don, daughters, Cheryl Folds, Marsha Folds Burke (Stephen Burke), son, Ken Folds.  A second son, Craig Folds, was lost in a mid-air aircraft collision in 1998.  Survivors also include granddaughters, Andrea Folds, Christina Folds, Sydney Burke and Lauren Burke, and great-grandson, Jude Keane.  Her surviving siblings include EJ Hoda (Tina Hoda), Linda Hoda, Mike Hoda (Charlotte Hoda), Bryan Hoda (Nancy Hoda), and sister-in-law, Helen Hode.  She was preceded in death by her siblings, Dale Hode and Ann Burns.

Faye was born in Hancock County, Mississippi, and during her life as a loving mother, she enjoyed work experiences including insurance agent, real estate agent and owning multiple beach condo units she managed as rentals through her company Emerald Coast Vacations.  Her best and happiest moments in life were the frequent gatherings together of children and grandchildren at home, on the beach, in the mountains or during family vacations.  Family was everything to her.

Faye was a devout, non-denominational Christian, whose spiritual life was served by itinerate gospel ministers, and worship services and gospel studies in private homes.  During her multiple age-related illnesses, and most recently, a broken hip and pneumonia, her faith never wavered, and she never complained.

The family wishes to acknowledge and sincerely thank the nurses and staff of Ascension Sacred Heart Bay Hospital, Encompass Health and Pruitt Health, all of whom provided exceptional skill and truly the kindest and utmost care to all of us.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 22 ^nd at 1:30pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Panama City, Florida.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, November 21 ^st , from 3-5 p.m.
