DELORES GRACE TODD

Delores Grace "Dee" Todd, 71, of Lynn Haven passed away Sunday, March 16, 2008. She was born September 29, 1936 in Vancouver, Canada. She moved to Vancouver, WA with her parents in 1948. She married her high school sweetheart August 21, 1954 and left Washington October of 1964. She was a wonderful military wife and mother. Moving from Oxnard, CA in 1970, to Panama City, FL where she remained until 1981. In Panama City, she was an active member of the Officer's Wife's Club and a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi. After her husband's military retirement, she left Florida and moved to Pheonix, AZ until 1999. After the death of her youngest daughter, she returned to Panama City where she was reunited with many of her closest friends. Upon returning, she became a member of the Panama City Woman's Club, Panama City Garden Club and a member of the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her father, Andy Roots and daughter, Karen A. Todd-Miller. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gale Burton Todd, mother, Nell Roots, brother, William Roots and wife Jane of Portland, OR, children, Ronald L. Todd and wife, Joy, of Shalimar, FL, Katherine L. Budda and fiancé Dan Walker, of Panama City, five grandchildren, Ra'Chelle Nichole Roberson and husband Nicholas, of Fort Bliss, TX, Erica Renee Todd, Andrea Marie Todd, Tanner Todd Budda, Alicia Delores Budda. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2008 at 4 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 903 E 4th Street, Panama City, FL 32401 in memory of Dee Todd. The family would like to send a special thank you to Shannon, Neta, Delores, Dr. Dent and Dr. Haq for their excellent care. Following the service, there will be a Celebration of Life at the home of Dan Walker and Katherine Budda, 1532 Thurso Road in Mowat Highlands.
