DELANO 'DALE' EDWARDS
Delano 'Dale' Edwards, 76, of Panama City Beach, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010. He was born March 13, 1934 in Jasper, Alabama and had been a resident here for 63 years. He was a retired security guard at Pinnacle Port. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Mostella Edwards, his father, Verdo Edwards, his sister Louise Earnest and son, David Lewis Edwards. He is survived by his wife, Charlene Coram Edwards; two daughters and best friends, Kristi Starling (James), Kelli Edwards; son, Michael Dale Edwards (Toni), seven grandchildren, Samantha Dail Edwards, Dustin Michael Edwards, Elizabeth Rector, Michael Rector, Aulden Murrie Burns, Hunter Brooke Starling, Payton Starling; two great grandchildren, Gracie Rector, Madison Rector; also two brother in-laws Charlie Coram (Linda),Willard Coram (Linda);two sister in laws Pauline Conlan, Jeanette Purvis (Jimmy)and Linda Wallace Coram. He was loved by all and will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 7 – 9 p.m.
