Dawn Marie Welch, 50, of Panama City, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 21, 2021.  She was born January 17, 1971 in Holyoke, Massachusetts.  She was the Office Administrator for Covenant Christian School.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Smith Thomas.  She is survived by her husband Lester "Rocky" A. Welch III; four children, Valerie Ann Cleveland (Jonah), Jacob Thomas Welch (fiancée Amanda Hall), Grace Marie Gouletas (Dylan), Lily Victoria Welch; four grandchildren, Silas Edward Cleveland, Jude Lester Cleveland, Eleanor Joy Cleveland, Stephen Dylan Gouletas; father, Robert "Bob" Thomas; brother, Robert "Robbie" Thomas Jr.; sister, Tammy McNesby (Ron) and numerous well-loved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Covenant Presbyterian Church with Pastor Cory Colravy officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.  Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Covenant Christian School in memory of Dawn Marie Welch.
