David Edward Rocher, 88, of Lynn Haven, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014.  He was born on March 18, 1926 in Lynn Haven and had been a lifelong resident.  He retired from Chevron after 31 years of working as a mechanic.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lynn Haven.  He was preceded in death by four brothers, Dick, Martin, Herbert and Walter Rocher.  He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Donnis Rocher; two children, Eddie Rocher (Sherri), Pam Isenberg (Eric); seven grandchildren, Brad Rocher (Crystal), Brian Rocher (Debra), Brent Rocher, April LeLacheur (Kevin), Briana Rocher, Braleigh Rocher, Odin LeLacheur; two brothers, Robert Rocher (Dorothy), Willie Rocher (Rita); two sisters, Helen Mae Rowley (Russ), Sally Wells; two sisters-in-law, Cindy Rocher, Merle Rocher; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will held at 2 p.m. on Saturday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Daniel officiating.  Interment will follow in the Lynn Haven Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday at the funeral home from 5 – 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Lynn Haven Building Fund, 1005 Ohio Avenue, Lynn Haven, FL 32444 in memory of David Rocher.
