David "Dave" Paull Stewart, 87, of Panama City Beach, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 in his home. His mother called him to join her in Heaven on her birthday. He was born January 2, 1935 in Menominee, Michigan. He served in the United States Army. He was a retired regional manager for Sears and Roebuck. He also worked as a D.J. in Lake Jackson, Georgia where he went by the name of D.J. Dave. He had been a resident of Panama City Beach for 20 years and worked at the Winn-Dixie on Thomas Drive. He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin & Elizabeth Stewart and a brother, Gibby Stewart. He is survived by his wife, Marlene Smith Stewart; three children, Ginny Klingman (Kregg), Terry Forrest, Glenn Stewart (Susan); seven grandchildren, Kevin Klingman (Brandy), Kelly Feathers (Matthew), Katie Phillips (Nick), Mandy Reeves (Jason), Alex Forrest (Mandy), Stephanie Gates (Chad), Shelby Blackburn (Eddie); two sisters, Gracie Stanton, Janie Machen (Don); brother, George Stewart; sister-in-law, Betty Stewart; eighteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donation be made to the Lighthouse for the Blind and Low Vision, 1155 Market Street, 10th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103 in memory of David Stewart.
