In Loving Memory of David W. (Malloy) Clubbs October 3, 1953 – March 16, 2025
David W. Malloy was born on October 3, 1953, as the first son of Curtis W. Malloy and Vera A. (Pate) Malloy. His early years were marked by both joy and tragedy—his father passed away shortly after the birth of his younger brother, leaving an indelible mark on David's life. Several years later, his mother married Thomas E. Clubbs, giving David and his brother Michael, the Clubbs name.
David is survived by his loving mother, Vera Clubbs; his younger brother, Michael G. Clubbs; and his sister, Vicki R. (Clubbs) Carleton and preceded in death by his loving father Thomas E Clubbs and step-sister Veronica G (Clubbs) Williams.
David's life was a testament of resilience, loyalty, and kindness. He carried the weight of his father's early loss and a failed marriage throughout his journey, shaping the man he became. To his younger siblings, David was not just a sibling but a hero—a figure of admiration and aspiration. Although their personalities were worlds apart, their bond endured through the years. David lived life on his own terms, with a wild and free spirit. He embraced the world in his own unique way, leaving behind stories and memories that will be cherished by those who knew and loved him.
A loyal friend and selfless soul, David often gave more of himself than he had to spare, always prioritizing the needs of others. His compassion was the hallmark of his character, even when life's challenges pushed him to withdraw from family and live at a distance. His innate kindness left a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know him closely.
His family and loved ones honor his memory with gratitude for the love he gave and the lessons he imparted. May he find eternal peace, surrounded by the love he deserves.
