David Ellis. 94, of Lynn Haven, FL passed away on Thursday May 26, 2016. He was born on January 31, 1922 in Panama City, FL and has been a lifelong resident. He served in the United States Army and was a Disabled World War II Veteran. He worked as an inspector for the International Paper Company for 35 years. He also worked as a security guard for Badcock Furniture in Lakeland, FL and was a Marshall at Nature Walk Golf Course. He loved to go golfing and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bebe Ellis and a twin brother, Paul Ellis. He is survived by three sons, two grandchildren, one great grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Memorial services will be held on Saturday June 4, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will follow the service at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Bay County Humane Society 1600 Bay Ave, Panama City, FL 32404 in his honor.
