Darin Mark Krawczyk, 56, of Panama City, FL, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2019. He was born on June 30, 1962 in Chicago, IL to Lawrence and Jean Krawczyk. In 1991, Darin first came to Panama City on vacation, where he loved it so much that he bought a house and told his family that they were moving. Darin was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was also a faithful servant of the Lord as a Lay Pastor for 5 years at the Historic St. Andrews Church. He worked for the Marriott Bay Point Resort as the Supervisor of Engineering for 19 years, and an Assistant Director of Engineering for Hilton Hotels in Nashville, TN. When he wasn't working, Darin loved to drive his family on road trips around the country, but he always said the sunsets in Panama City were the best he'd ever seen. Darin Krawczyk is survived by his sons Darin, Jr., and Christopher (Allison); grandchildren Caleb and Harper; and brothers Brian (Deanna) and Tony. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 11am in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel (214 Airport Rd, P.C., FL 32405) with Pastor Richard Duncan officiating. Families with small children should be aware there will be a 21-gun salute and may desire ear protection. The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home from 10-11am prior to the service for the viewing. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Toys for Tots care of the U.S Marine Corps in his memory.
