Daphne Wilson Clark,79, of Panama City Beach, FL passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023. She was born on January 1, 1944 in Gravesend, England to Ralph E. Wilson and Gwynneth Thirza Reader. She was a graduate from Bay High School and Magna Cum Laude at Salem College in Winston Salem, NC. She was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church where she was also a member of the church choir. Daphne was a previous member of multiple local organizations including, Meals on Wheels, The Rotary Club, Bay Point Yacht Club, Bay Point Women's Club, the Kiwanis Club and the American Cancer Society for over thirty years. She also ran the local Department of Elections here in Panama City. She enjoyed doing crafts, gardening, drinking tea, entertaining, and she always was giving to others.  She is survived by her daughter, Alyssa B. Davis; one son, Robert W. Davis Jr. (Adrienne); one granddaughter, Devyn S. Davis; nephew, Chris Wilson; niece, Sarah Surgenor and numerous extended family members from England. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 2:30 pm at St. Andrew United Methodist Church with Rev. John Blount officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30-2:30 pm prior to the service. For those desiring to make a floral donation it is requested that it be a strawberry plant. The strawberry plants will be donated to the Bundle of Hope Adoption Agency following the service. Memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew United Methodist Church in memory of Daphne Clark.
