Danny Oliver, 79, of Panama City, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.  He was born December 4, 1944 in Dothan, Alabama.  He was a retired Major and Aviator of 21 years, serving proudly in the United States Air Force.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Eldridge & Marcella Oliver and a sister, Patricia Oliver.  He is survived by his wife, Sarah Oliver; two children, Tonya Alford (Greg); Daniel Oliver (Elizabeth); two grandchildren, MacKenzie & Jackson Alford and a sister, Nancy Oliver Tadlock (Jim).  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 11 a.m. in the Parker Global Methodist Church, 908 S Tyndall Parkway, Parker with Pastor Jim Cooper officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. The family would like to extend their immense gratitude to his extraordinary caregivers - Carmen, Ivy and the entire Delta-Red team at Sims Veterans Nursing home for all the love and care you gave Danny.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Disabled American Veterans of Dothan Chapter 87, 301 West Lafayette Street, Dothan, AL  36301 in memory of Danny Oliver.
