Daniel Martin "Marty" Johnson, 41, of Panama City, Florida went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, surrounded by his family and close friends. He was born June 20, 1977 in Panama City, Florida. He was a member of Emmaus United Methodist Church and the Bethlehem Emmaus Community. Marty graduated high school from Mosley High in 1995. He was known for his dedication to family and friends, hard work, kind, loving, and humble nature. He was also an avid outdoorsman, excellent golfer, and loyal friend. He is survived by the love of his life of almost 20 years, Laura Belz-Johnson; two daughters, Tinsley and Kailey Johnson; special dog, Maple. He is also survived by his parents, Bobby Johnson (Joy) and Alice Kelly; brother, Brently Johnson; sister, Kelly Johnson (Corey); nephews, Kaden and Kyler Benedict; mother-n-love, Martha Tindel (Chuck); best friend, Christofer Boling; along with a lot extended family and special friends. Marty was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George and Theatris Johnson; maternal grandparents, Dan and Myrtle Kelly; sister-n-law, Stirling Belz; and father-n-law, Graham Belz. The family will receive friends at Forest Park United Methodist Church on Monday, May 13, 2019 from 4-7 pm. The funeral service will be at First Baptist Church Downtown on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 2 pm.
