Daniel Quitman Hutchison Jr., 65, of Tallahassee, FL, died Friday, December 14, 2007 in Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. He was born September 27, 1942 in Panama City to Daniel & Jimmie Hutchison Sr. Dan was an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America, a bow maker by profession, and owned Apalachee Archery. He was a member of the Tallahassee Museum of Natural History, where he donated time to teach bow making. Dan was a member of the Tallahassee Bowhunters Assoc., Horse Creek Traditional Archery Club, Wakulla Archery Club, Jefferson Longrifles. Dan was a principle member of the The Lower Muskogee Creek Tribe. He is survived by his wife, Linda Bailey Hutchison; son, Dan Hutchison III and wife, Janet; daughter, Sheri McArthur and husband, Gayle; 2 grandchildren, Christopher Hutchison, Rebeka McArthur, and a sister, Barbara Hutchison Gorman and her companion, Richard Venable. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. Sunday. Those desiring may make a contribution to the American Cancer Society or the Boys Scouts of America.
