Dana Lanell Ornelas, 50, of Stigler, OK, passed away on January 19 ^th , 2023 at Baptist Medical in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Dana was born in Amarillo, TX to Betty Jeanette Smith and Roy Joe Ornelas. She lived there until 1988 when she then moved to Panama City FL with her mother. From there she made a life of her own with her two kids and then significant other Thomas Kirkland of West Bay, FL. Dana moved in 2017 to Oklahoma to be closer to her mom's side of the family.

Dana was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer in 2021 and fought hard every step of the way until the Lord called her home. Dana loved Nascar, spending time with family and friends, Lifetime and Hallmark movies and truly was a kind and loving person and friend. She loved her kids so dearly and her grandson beyond words.

Dana is preceded in death by her mother Betty Jeanette Smith, and her grandparents better known as Grandma and Grandpa Reed.

Dana is survived by her daughter, Jessica Milner, husband Josh Milner and Grandson Carson Milner of Lynn Haven, FL., Son, Thomas Kirkland Jr. and wife Niki Kirkland of Fort Stewart, GA., Brother Dwayne Randolph and wife Angie Randolph of Stigler, OK., Sister, Cindy Sears of Dallas, TX., many nieces and nephews who she loved very much. Dana had many friends which she cared for dearly, and Ernest Driver, significant other who supported her through the toughest times of her battle with cancer.

Visitation for Dana will be Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Wilson Funeral Home 214 Airport Rd. Panama City, FL 32405 at 1pm with memorial service to follow at 2pm.
