Daisy Mae Helms Justice, 86, of Panama City, FL passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024. She was born on February 22, 1938 in New Brockton, AL to Bessie Louise and Adolphus Lafayette Helms. She was a 1956 graduate of Bay High School. Daisy worked as an administrative assistant at Gulf Coast State College for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Doc and Bessie Helms; daughter, Lisa Justice; brother, Fate Helms; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Harold Buschmeyer; sister-in-law, Jan Helms. She is survived by her husband, Charles "Charlie" Justice; son, Brian "Shade" Justice and his wife, Sara Justice; grandsons, Trent Justice, Braden Justice; brother, Gary Helms; sister-in-law, Betty Helms; cousins, Ronnie Justice, Mike Justice, Roger Dale Justice, Don Justice, Larry Justice, Kathy Bynum (Rex); numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 2 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1-2 pm prior to the service. Active pallbearers are Tommy Nolan, Jeff Allan, Brian Thomas, John Hutton, David Helms, Eric Vineyard and Tim Prather.  Honorary pallbearers are Harold Bazzell, Ronnie Weathersby, Royal Murphy, Gayle Hartzog, Tony Crittendon, Butch Leonard, Freddie Campbell and Tom Nolan.
