Cynthia Dianne Duffy, 72, of Sunny Hills, FL passed away December 14th, 2024, at her home. She was born March 24th, 1952, in Panama City, FL. She was a 1970 Graduate of Rutherford High School in Panama City as well as a graduate of Gulf Coast College and obtained her bachelor's degree in social work from West Florida University in Pensacola, FL. She worked in various Social Work positions throughout the years but finished her work career with the Department of Defense Naval Coastal Systems Center in Panama City, Fl.

Even though she was paralyzed in both legs from polio at age 5 she never let it slow her down or stop her from doing whatever she set her mind to do, always full of life and adventure.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Powell Hutto and her father, Johnny H Hutto Sr.  She is survived by a son, Christopher Duffy and loving daughter in law, Alyssa Duffy, two sisters, Susanna Thomas (Wayne) and Candace King (Jimmy); two brothers, Johnny Hutto Jr (Elaine) and Jerry Hutto (Teresa); special longtime friend Patty Shew as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins that she greatly loved.

A memorial service will be held at Cedar Grove Baptist Church at 2608 E 15th Street, Panama City, FL on Friday, December 20th at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Charles Key officiating.

Flowers may be sent to the church on Friday.
