Obituary

Connie Baack Blake, 65, of Panama City, passed away December 19, 2015 in the Covenant Care Center. She was born June 1, 1950 to Harold and Mildred Baack. She was a retired school teacher where she taught at Tommy Smith Elementary. She had been a resident of Panama City since 1983, moving here from Midland, Texas. She was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church and also Bear Creek Assembly of God. She is survived by her companion, Mike Houser; two sons, Trace Blake (Diane) and Trevor Blake (Sorcha); sister, Beverly Rotenberger (John); 6 grandchildren, Tyler, Fox, Nathaniel, Maleah, Gavin and Deya Blake; nephew, Harrison Bauer (Kris); and niece, Lee Ann Bauer. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. in the Forest Park United Methodist Church on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 with Dr. John Friedman and Pastor Tony Teas officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 to 11 a.m., one hour prior to service time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Forest Park United Methodist Church Youth or Children's Missions or to the Bear Creek Assembly of God Missions in memory of Connie Blake.
