Obituary

Colleen Fuller Campbell, 82, of Panama City, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012 in a local hospital. She was born November 28, 1929 to Thelma & Hershal Fuller, but was raised by her grandparents, Marcus & Minnie Mott. She was the oldest of four children. She graduated from Trumann High School, Trumann Arkansas, where she was Homecoming Queen and cheerleader. She attended Arkansas State University. She owned and operated the Town & Country Beauty and Dress Shop in Trumann. She moved with her husband to Jonesboro, Arkansas in 1973. She was a member of the St. Mark's Episcopal Church, the Order of the Eastern Star, was a volunteer at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro. She moved to Panama City, Florida in 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Scott Campbell Sr., and her 2 sisters, Mary Frances Fuller, Patsy Ann Mobley. She is survived by her son, Dr. William Scott Campbell Jr. and his wife Pamela Every of Panama City; 3 grandchildren, Emily, Duncan, Ryan; brother, Melbourne Fuller of Detroit, Michigan; sister-in-law, Alice Clogston of Little Rock, Arkansas and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Jonesboro, Arkansas. Interment will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Emerson Funeral Home, Jonesboro, from 7-9 p.m. Friday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Salvation Army or the American Red Cross in memory of Colleen Campbell.
