Cleveland M. Steele, 92, of Panama City, passed away on September 16, 2020 in his home.  He was born September 13, 1928 in Escambia County, Florida.  He was a retired supervisor for Southern Bell.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ann Steele; daughter, Rebecca Martin; seven brothers, Marshall, Amand, Juber, Edward, Aaron, Roger, Raymond and a sister, Luverne Passmore.  He is survived by a daughter, Terrie Cleveland; grandson, Jonah Cleveland Jr. (Valerie); three great grandchildren, Silas, Jude, Eleanor Joy; three brothers, Artis Steele (Sybil), Onoree Steele (Brenda), Bennie Earl Steele (Eloise); and numerous nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Covenant Presbyterian Church with Rev. Cory Colravy officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in the Oakland Cemetery.
