CLAUDE FRANK PHILLIPS, JR.
Claude Frank Phillips, Jr., 63, of Lynn Haven, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2007. He was born on May 30, 1943 in Greensboro, North Carolina. He was a retired organic chemist for the Arizona Chemical Company. He was very active in the Coast Guard Auxiliary and was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. He also supported Gulf Coast Community College and loved Kaleidoscope Theatre. He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Phillips. He is survived by his wife, Pat Phillips of Lynn Haven, two sons, Daniel Phillips and Todd Phillips, both of Seattle, Washington, sisters, Maryann Bowes and her husband, Benny, Elaine Gwin and her husband, Paul, all of North Carolina, nieces, Leigh Gwin, Ellen Gwin, sister-in-law, Janice Barber and her husband, Larry, of Panama City, nephews, Michael Barber, Patrick Barber, Adam Barber, niece, Jessie Barber and godson, Matt Lopez. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Messiah Lutheran Church with Rev. Dennis Schmidt officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations may be made to the Kaleidoscope Building Fund, 207 E 24th Street, Lynn Haven, FL 32444 in memory of Frank Phillips.
