Clara Williams Whitehurst of Panama City, Florida went home to her Heavenly Father on August 21 ^st , 2021 at the age of 94. Clara lived a long, healthy, and happy life. Born Clara Dell Adams in Bradenton Florida on April 13 ^th , 1927 to parents Dee Kemp Adams and Gertrude Baggett Adams. She is survived by  2 sons William Donald Williams Jr. (Frances) and David Franklin Williams (Karen), 2 grandsons Ryan David Williams (Tabitha), Christopher Michael Johnson, 1 granddaughter Lindsay Brooke Haid (Gregory) and 3 great grandsons, Tyler Williams, Carter Haid and Lucas Haid. She is also survived by 3 nieces who were very dear to her, Diana Raye Ledbetter, Kathryn Justice and LaVerne Lambert. Clara was lucky enough to have had 2 beloved husbands, both preceded her in death. William Donald Williams Sr, married April 23 ^rd , 1949 until his death November 3 ^rd , 1985 and Samuel E. Whitehurst, married August 11 ^th , 1991 until his death November 29 ^th , 2013. Clara was also preceded in death by her siblings Bobbie, Ray, and Dixie. Clara has always been involved in the church and did speaking engagements for Women of Faith. In one of her speeches this is what she said, "God's Word says "But to all who receive Christ and who believe in him, He gave the right to become children of God." "I am a child of God and I have been promised eternal life with Him. I thank God for my life here on earth, I have had a wonderful, long life. I know there are trials ahead, But also know God uses difficult times to teach me and to draw me closer to Him," she also said "God has blessed me with a long and wonderful life, two parents who loved me, two fine loving men to be my husbands and two good children, they enriched my life with loving wives and delightful grandchildren, I have even lived long enough to get acquainted with three great grandchildren. Best of all, they know God and Christ as lord. God is good!" The family will have a celebration of Life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to St Andrew Christian Care Center, Panama City, Florida.
