CLARA NELL DAVIS MILLER
Clara Nell Davis Miller, of Southport, passed away Friday, June 18, 2010 in Montrose, Alabama. She was born on January 23, 1932 and had been a lifelong resident of Bay County, Florida. She graduated from Bay County High School in 1950 and was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Southport. She was a devoted Mother and will be missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sonny Boy Miller; daughter, Judy Ann Miller and mother-in-law, Maude Davis Miller. She is survived by her 5 children, Marilyn Barefoot (Glen), Mike Miller, James Miller (Angela), Martha Williams(Todd), and Melinda Hacker (Ted); 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; brother, Grover Davis (Judy) and sister, Margaret Fisher. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Southport with Rev. Mike Short officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 - 5 p.m. Active pallbearers will be Billy Miller, Bobby Miley, Kenny Kyser, Greg Davis, Darin Barefoot and Johnny Nelson.
