CHRISTINE THAIN SANDERSON
Christine Thain Sanderson, of Panama City, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2009. She grew up in a pioneer family in Oklahoma and had been a resident of Panama City since 1950. She was a librarian for the Bay County Public Library. Christine was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and was the volunteer church librarian for 25 years. She was an avid reader and bridge player and loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Sanderson. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Sanderson, grandson, Kristopher Rex Hussmann, sister, Brownie Bethurum, seven nieces and nephews and many other beloved family and friends. A memorial service followed by a reception will be held Friday, June 19 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. A private burial with family will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family would like to send a special thank you to Covenant Hospice and the Sterling House Staff for their excellent care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church Memorial Fund in memory of Christine Sanderson.
