Christine (Chris) Anne Hale,72, of Panama City Beach, FL, passed away on Saturday, April 16th with family by her side.

Chris was born on August 2, 1949 to Earl and Margaret Browand in Charleston, SC. She moved to Panama City in 1955. Chris attended St. Andrews Elementary School, Jinks Jr. High School, and Bay High School. She graduated from Bay High School in 1967.

In 1997, Chris retired from the Civil Service and spent her time with her husband relaxing by the pool, tending to her flowers, and watching FSU football.

Chris was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Margaret Browand.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years David Hale; daughter Kim Guy (Charles);  two stepsons, Marc Hale (Karen) and Dean Hale (Doris); six grandchildren, Abbie Guy, Kieleh Hale, Mikaela Hale, Kevin Hale, Justin Hale and Alle Loy (Hunter); two sisters, Jean Hoskins (Earl) and Carole Waters; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 3:00pm. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00pm prior to the service at Wilson Funeral Home.

The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to their favorite animal rescue in Chris's name.
