Chester Stuart Maynor Jr., 87, of Lynn Haven, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022.  He was born April 14, 1934 in Long Island, New York.  He served as an air traffic controller in the United States Navy. He was a retired maintenance engineer for Goody's products.  He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Stuart Maynor Sr., mother, Gladys Maynor Smith; stepfather, Franz Smith and a half brother, Robert Smith.  He is survived by his wife, Joyce Maynor; four children, Stephen Maynor (Karen); Robert Maynor (Jocelyn); Karen Wheeler (Dave); Tommy Taylor (Kathy); seven grandchildren, Justin, Kori, Cody, Julie, Austin, Sydney, Jessica; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Debbie Udell, Dee Boylan. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Trent Gann and Daniel McNeil officiating.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to the Building Fund at First Baptist Church of Lynn Haven.
