CHARLOTTE MARIE PHILLIPS

Charlotte Marie Phillips, 60, of Panama City, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2007. She was born on September 19, 1946 in Bolivia. She graduated from FSU in 1967. She was a P.E. Teacher for M.K. Lewis School for 25 years. She was chairperson of the Special Olympics for Bay County for 25 years and was a torch carrier. She is survived by her husband, Neil Phillips, son, Jason Franklin Phillips, of Destin, mother, Marion Beck, of Pensacola, and two brothers, Charlie Beck and his wife, Emily, of Tallahassee and Adrian Beck, of Pensacola. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Pensacola. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 – 11 a.m. prior to the services. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Emerald Coast Hospice, 2925 Martin Luther King Blvd, Panama City, FL 32405, the American Cancer Society, 2012-A Lisenby Avenue, Panama City, FL 32405 or to the Bay County Special Olympics.
