CHARLIE SPARKS COOK SR.
Charlie Sparks Cook Sr., 80, of Panama City, died Tuesday, January 13, 2009. He was born August 6, 1928 in Noma, FL, and graduated from Holmes County High School in 1946. He was a retired warehouse manager for Byrd & Son Bottling Company. He was a member of the Hiland Park Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Joe Cook and a sister, Myrtice Armstrong. He is survived by his wife, Christine Eddins Cook; 5 children, Charlie Sparks Cook Jr. and wife, Cheri; Cheryl Ann McCallister and husband Danny, Lynn Williams, Jeff Cook, Randy Cook; 4 grandchildren, Jesse Williams, Jacob Williams and their father, Donnie Williams; Morgan Robinson, Rachael Robinson, and a sister, Juanita Cook. Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Pickerill officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
