CHARLES SUTTLE GILDER

Charles "Chuck" Suttle Gilder, 47, of Inlet Beach, Florida died on Sunday, December 11, 2011 in his home. He was born August 21, 1964 in Enterprise, Alabama. Chuck graduated from Enterprise High School and Troy State University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Education. He was a charter member of the faculty of Arnold High School and an avid Alabama football fan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Jean Gilder. He is survived by his wife, Joan Gilder; two step sons, Daniel Snyder, Dakota Schlock; father, Harry Gilder, Sr.; two brothers, Harry Gilder, Jr. (Sue), Mike Gilder; sister, Susie Gilder Baxley (Mitch); and was a loving uncle to his six nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind many close lifetime friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 - 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Attention: Charitable Accounting, One Kroc Drive, Oak Brook, IL 60523 in memory of Chuck Gilder.
