Charles Otis Kovaleski passed away on February 5, 2010 in Panama City, Florida. Funeral services for Charles O. Kovaleski will be held at Wilson Funeral Home in Panama City, Florida on Monday, February 8, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. CST. Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. EST at Roselawn Cemetery in Tallahassee, Florida on Tuesday, February 9, 2010.
Charlie was born October 6, 1915 in Parkersburg, West Virginia. He lived in Monroe, Louisiana for 8 years where he was part owner of the Monroe Times Newspaper and was leader of the Sea Scouts.
He later established Advance Printing in Tallahassee, Florida which he ran for over 40 years. He was an active investor and developer in real estate. He was a lifelong member of the Masons and member of the Shriners and Eastern Star. He retired to Panama City in 2004 and resided at Mathison Retirement Center.
He is survived by son, Rusty Kovaleski and wife Tina, step-son, Bill Wood and wife Dot, grandchildren, Brian Kovaleski, Lauren Kovaleski, Caroline Kovaleski, Anna Willis, and one great grandchild, Jessica Willis.
The family extends their gratitude for the kind support and care given Charlie especially during the last four months.
