CHARLES ANDREW JANKOWSKI

Charles Andrew Jankowski, 24, of Panama City, died while on active duty with the U.S. Army in Iraq on Friday, March 28, 2008. He was born on December 18, 1983 in Panama City and had been a lifelong resident, before joining the Army in 2002. He was a 2002 graduate of Rutherford High School and enjoyed being outdoors. He is survived by his parents, Rose Jankowski & Bill Parrott, two sisters, Felicia Kirkland and husband Ray, Beverly Morris, two nephews, Carter Kirkland and Brantley Kirkland, grandfather, John Jankowski, companion, Karen Hainley and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 7, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Wiggins officiating. Interment will follow with full military honors conducted at the graveside. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 – 7 p.m.
