Charles Jefferson (C.J.) Congleton Jr., of Lynn Haven, passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 3, 2007. He was born in Mobile, Alabama on August 22, 1941. He was a member of the Harry Jackson Masonic Lodge #314. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Jefferson Congleton Sr., and his mother, Virginia Cherry Congleton Guerry. Left to cherish his memory is his loving and devoted wife, Iris Elizabeth Congleton; daughter, Pamela Carney and husband, Michael of Bonifay, FL; son, Richard Langston of Lynn Haven; grandson, Zachery Williams; brother, Luke Congleton and wife, Ruby of Mobile, AL; sister, Debbie Gunn and husband, Keith of Bay Minette, AL; half brother, Huddy Cherry of San Diego, CA; brother-in-law, Roy Oliver and wife, Wilma of Panama City Beach, 5 nephews, and 1 niece. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Daniel officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Masonic rites conducted at the graveside. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
