CHARLES MOULTRIE BALDWIN

Charles Moultrie Baldwin, 82, of Lynn Haven, died Thursday, January 10, 2008 at a local nursing home. He was born on October 23, 1925 in Panama City and had been a lifelong resident here. He attended the University of Florida and graduated from Gulf Coast Military Academy in 1943. He was a member of the Bay High School Class of 1943. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Williams Baldwin, daughter, Cindy Baldwin Robinson and sister, Flora Isler. He is survived by his son, Colonel Alan Baldwin USMC (Ret) and wife, Melinda, of Vista, California, three grandchildren, Tyler Harrison, Heather Harrison-Gaither and husband Richard, Alexandra Baldwin and sister, Mary Helen Williams, of Orlando. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Pledger officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery with military rites conducted at the graveside. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 – 3 p.m. prior to the service.
