IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Chad Everett
Wallis
November 18, 1978 – April 24, 2024
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Chad Everett Wallis on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. He was a Panama City native born on November 18, 1978 to Thomas and Linda Wallis. Chad was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Lindsey; children, Carmine and Kalea; brother, Theron (Paige, Sylvie, and Julian); and many extended family members and friends.
For all who knew Chad, they knew him as a fun loving, beach going guy who rode around town in his Jeep with the doors off and the music loud. He loved to travel with his family and always looked forward to an adventure in places such as Colombia, Egypt, and Europe. There was never a moment when Chad wasn't daydreaming about the next family adventure.
Chad's children were his everything. Many nights were spent with Chad coaching Carmine's baseball and flag football teams and he was at every volleyball competition for Kalea. There wasn't an event he missed. Chad also shared a birthday with Kalea, which made that day extra special. He was a mentor to many students during his time as a teacher in Bay County. He truly had a gift for teaching students how to read and encouraging students to reach their full potential.
The beach was his happy place. Many weekend mornings, you could find Chad paddleboarding to Shell Island or walking the beach with the family dog, Kyro. The beach provided a calming effect on Chad that he wasn't able to find in many other places. He loved being on the water, but had recently taken up a love for skydiving.
A celebration of life will be held May 10 at 6:00 pm. Location will be at Access 4 on the beach next to Schooners. Bring a chair or blanket and come enjoy time together with family and friends to honor the compassionate and loving man that Chad was.
In lieu of flowers, please pay kindness forward. Find a moment to tell someone you love them, admire them, or appreciate them. Chad was always kind to others and he would love to see that kindness paid forward.
