Cathy Lea Carter, 73, of Parker, FL passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 in her home.  She was born December 20, 1949 in Fairmont, West Virginia.  She was a retired LPN having had worked at numerous nursing homes in Bay and Gulf County.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Callaway.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Jackson & Patricia Jamison and a sister, JoAnn Jamison.  She is survived by her husband, Wayne Lavaughn Carter; three sons, Robert Wayne Weston (Anne Marie), Randall Lee Weston (Melissa), Mark Patrick Weston; seven grandchildren, Dean Michael Weston, Chessney Louise Smith, Giana Koce, Hunter Lee Weston, Haley JoAnn Weston, Johnathan Weston, Jessica Moses (Chandler); great grandson, Dennis Weston; two brothers, Don Jamison, Jimmy Jamison, two sisters, Christy Davis, Patty Kenow (Curt) and numerous nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023 at 11 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Callaway with Rev. Jessie Dasher officiating.  The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service.  Interment will follow in the Wausau Memorial Gardens, Wausau, FL. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the First Baptist Church of Callaway in memory of Cathy Carter.
