Catherine Louise Barnhart Conrad

Catherine Louise Barnhart Conrad, 91, of Panama City, passed away on Wednesday, February 05, 2014. She was born October 1, 1922 in Arkansas and was a life-long resident of Panama City. She was a retired administrative assistant for the Bay County Property Appraisers office, where she worked with her husband, Gerald Conrad, who was the property appraiser at that time. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Conrad, and two daughters, Cathy & Deborah Conrad; and best friend and sister-in-law, Ginny Conrad (Lynwood). She was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church of Panama City, the St. Andrew Bay Yacht Club and Bridge Clubs. She is survived by a daughter, Susan Johnson and her husband, Bobby; her beloved grandchildren, Michael Ham and his wife, Sandra, Carroll McCauley III, and his Wife, Suzanna, and Crystal McCauley, brother-in-law, Harold Conrad, and his wife, Arlene; great grandchildren, Carroll McCauley IV(C4), Krista McCauley, and Keegan McCauley; nephews, Craig Conrad (Jean), Johnny Conrad (Ronda) Nick Conrad (Jane), Glenn Conrad (Jane) and Lynn Knees (Ed) and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 12 noon at The Chapel at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Rudy Olivo officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 11 a.m. to 12 noon prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Sterling House for taking good care of our loved one.
