Carrie Marshall left this earth for her heavenly home on April 10, 2024. Carrie was born in Maryland and graduated from high school just before our family moved to Florida.

Carrie loved her family and friends and hanging out with her cousins. She loved all animals and often had a menagerie of pets.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Marshall and her Aunt, Lois Galloway.

She is survived by her mom, Ann and stepdad, Leon Van Zant. Surviving also are her brothers, Jay (Karen) of Maryland and Courtney of Dallas; uncle, Alto (Pat) Straugn of Archer, FL; aunts, Mavis Allen of Panama City and Carol Boland of Defuniak Springs. She is also survived by four Van Zant step siblings, Tim of Alaska, Brian (Debbie) of Chipley, FL, Jeff (Alison) of Hillsdale, MI and Jill of Panama City Beach. She is survived too by many nieces and nephews, Collin, Rylee and Greg Marshall, Heather Gerard and Heathers children, John and Annabelle. She loved each of them and loved the Van Zant littles and hearing of their adventures. Carrie had a big heart and would help anyone she could. She will be missed but lives forever in our hearts. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
