Carolyn Jones McKinnon, 75, of Panama City Beach, FL passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017. She was born on June 21, 1942 in Ragland, AL to Connell Lee and Viola Jones. She was the Owner and Operator of McKinnon Pharmacy in Leeds, Alabama. She was a founding member and enjoyed attending Parkway Christian Fellowship in Birmingham before moving to Panama City Beach where she began attending First Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, William Ralph McKinnon Jr.. She is survived by one daughter, Karen Cook (Fred); one son, Kyle McKinnon (Mary); seven grandchildren, Jennifer Cook, Courtney Cook, Ashley Cook, Chelsea Morris, Kailey McKinnon, Emma Kinkead, Jacob Kinkead; great grandchildren, Carleigh Morris, Christian Morris, Koleman Morris; brothers, Carl Jones; sisters, Addis Sims, Sandra Hollis, Pearl Henderson. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday October 10, 2017 at 1 pm at the Forest Crest Cemetery in Leeds, AL with Rev. Clyde Ellison officiating.  Those desiring may make memorial donations to the American Heart Association.
