Carolyn Ann Hagan, 83, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 2, 2019 and has gone to be with the Lord. She leaves behind her husband of 63 years, Wayne Hagan; daughters, Anna Morris (James) of Panama City, Priscilla Hetherington (John) of Sugar Hill, GA; grandchildren, Sean and Lori Hetherington and Jamie George. She is preceded on her trip to the Lord by her parents, Willis J and Annie Mae Jones; daughter, Wanda George and brother, Lewis Jones. Ann was a devoted mother and wife, living through and enjoying the challenges of being a wife of an active duty military and civilian government employee. She lived in England, Germany and Spain with Wayne as he served in the military and as a government employee, which allowed her to travel throughout Europe and many Eastern Bloc countries as well as many countries in North Africa. She was most proud of being a craft and antique store owner both in Germany and Perry, GA, prior to retiring and moving back to Panama City. Ann was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and the Military Order of the Cooties, dedicated to volunteering in hospitals that serve the military veteran. Her work and dedication resulted in many awards from the Georgia War Veterans Home in Milledgeville and the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin, GA. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 2 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.
