CAROLINE BENSON
Caroline Benson, 82, of Panama City, passed away, Saturday, February 7, 2009. She was born October 29, 1926 in McClellandtown, Pennsylvania to John and Margurite Dugan. She spent most of her life in Bessemer, Pennsylvania, and moved to Panama City in 2001. She volunteered in the Woman's Guild and was an active member of the Bessemer United Presbyterian Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Donald Eugene Benson and her son, Donald Eugene Benson, Jr. She is survived by her two daughters, Emma Jean Randles, Bobbi Lou Huebner, daughter-in-law, Barbara Benson, eight grandchildren, Michael Benson, David Benson, James Benson, Sibyl Dando, Yvonne Farrington, Theodore Randles, Connie Randles, Jeremiah Huebner, great grandchild, Maxwell Benson, two brothers, George Dugan, John Dugan. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Cory Colravy officiating. Interment will follow in the Lynn Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1 – 2 p.m. prior to the service. Active pallbearers will be Theodore Randles, Brennan Farrington, Ronnie Napier, Bill Daughdrill, Jim Huebner and Bryan Walker. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard & Joyce Post and Virgil & Beverly Tinklenberg.
