IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Carol Ellen
Forrester
June 25, 1952 – February 16, 2026
Carol Ellen Forrester, born on June 25, 1952, peacefully passed away on February 16, 2026.
Carol was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother before anything else. She loved her family more than anything in the world, and that love is the legacy she leaves behind. She was known for her kindness, warm heart, and laughter she so shared with everyone around her. Her strength, compassion, and joy will live on through all who knew and loved her. Her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her family. Through her career as a registered nurse—and especially in her work with Hospice—she dedicated her life to caring for others with dignity and grace. She had a special gift for comforting those in their most vulnerable moments, offering warmth and heartfelt compassion. She also had a very special place in her life for dogs, especially her fur babies Ana and Maddie. She was passionate about programs that supported fostering and adopting dogs.
She is survived by her children: Leif (Laura), Allison (Forest), Jason (Whitney), and Cameron (Michele); her grandchildren: Laine (Eric), Madison (Ryan), Laila, Reid, Aeli, Storme, Silas, Grae, and Knox; and her great-grandchildren: Bodhi, Jax, Arlo, Luca, and another one on the way; and sweet Maddie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jane and Charles Slucher; husband of many years and father of her children, Eric Spalding Forrester; and her infant daughter, Cathleen Elise Forrester.
Carol is also survived by the many friends and people whose lives she touched throughout her life. She was a good friend and a loving soul to so many people, and her light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the countless lives she touched and the love she so freely gave. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
