Carmen Francisca Loewisch became an Angel of God on February 1, 2014 at 3:50 p.m. and is being celebrated in Heaven. Carmen was born in Wiesbaden, Germany on June 11, 1962 to the parents of Ursula Puzek and Gunther Loewisch (deceased 1996). Carmen came to the United States in 1966 and has lived in Panama City, Florida since 1973. Carmen was the oldest of six sisters whom she loved and helped to raise. Carmen loved life, her family and her dog Bones very much. Carmen loved the outdoors, especially, walking daily with her Mother at Under the Oaks Park and she loved to play putt putt golf. Carmen loved riding motor cycles and rode one to high school to Bay High every day. Carmen was a graduate of the Class of 1981 from Bay High School. Carmen attended North Star Church for many years and was a dedicated Christian. Carmen is survived by her mother, Ursula Puzek and Michael Puzek whom she called her father; sister, Patricia (Trish) Wheeler and brother-in-law, Kevin R. Wheeler; niece, Taylor Wheeler, nephew, Colton Wheeler; sister, Sander (Sandy) Limmer; nephews, Bradley and Miles Limmer; sister, Maureen Frost-Kennington and brother-in-law, Joey Kennington; niece, Melissa N. Childs and nephews, Jackson and Jaylen; sister, Maura Pratt and brother-in-law Allen Pratt; niece, Baylee Pratt; sister, Leann Fairbanks and brother-in-law, Michael Fairbanks; nephews, Evan, Stephen, and Brandon Fairbanks and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday at 4 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 3-4 p.m. prior to the service.
