Buford (B.J.) Judah, 73, of Panama City, FL went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 after an extended illness. He was born on December 12, 1947 in Bonifay, FL. He served in the United States Air Force. After a 27 year career with the Experimental Dive Unit at the Naval Support Activity, Panama City, FL, B.J. retired. Prior to that position, Mr. Judah was a Craftsman for the Morgan Yacht Company. He was an active member of The First Baptist Church of Callaway. Mr. Judah loved the Lord and always had a prayer on his heart. B.J. enjoyed traveling, camping and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jean Judah; parents, Carson Judah and Edna and Earl Payne. He is survived by his wife, Linda Watson Judah; children Chris Judah (Kay) and Kathy Eads (Mike); grandchildren Erin, Sarah, Alicia, Kirstie, Bradley; 7 great-grandchildren; step- daughters Taura Pennington, Velina Maqueira (Justo); step- grandchildren Nolan, Chase, Peyton, Parker and Noel; sister JoeAnne Sides (Randy) and brother Paul Payne.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 1 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Steve Bates officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12-1 pm prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Callaway Building Fund in memory of Buford (B.J.) Judah.
