Buford Fulton Ennis, 98, of Panama City, passed away January 18, 2014 in his home. He was born May 14, 1915 in St. Andrews, Florida to Robert Fulton Ennis and Ella Griffith Ennis. He served in the United States Navy during World War II as a Seabee. He was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church having served in numerous leadership roles. He was a founder and past president of Remsco, Inc. and Welders Supply, Inc. Prior to founding these companies he was associated with International Paper Company and West Florida Electric Service Company. He was active in many community, civic and trade organizations having served as president of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Wholesale International (1985), as a board of director for Sunshine-Junior Stores, Bay Bank and Trust (1995-2012) and distinguished himself as chairman of the Panama City-Bay County Airport Authority for 20 years (1963-1983). He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy "Mimi" Powell Ennis. He is survived by his three children, Dottie Hamlin (Ron), Powell Ennis (Nell), and Chuck Ennis (Gail); grandchildren, Kelly Hamlin, Stacey Hamlin Ellis (Bobby), Powell Ennis, Jr. (Tiffany), Griff Ennis (Amy), Wes Ennis (Kendall), Ashley Ennis Williams (Keith), Cliff Ennis (Ryann); great-grandchildren, Ashton Sikes, Colton Ellis, Grace Ennis, Noah Williams, Griffin Ellis, Claire Ennis, Ella Ennis, Anna Williams, Ava Ennis, Brooke Ennis, and Will Ennis; sisters, Christine Ennis Peterson and Bobbie Ennis Flynn (Bernie).

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in Millville Cemetery with Dr. Craig Conner, Reverend Bill Sears, and Reverend Clyde Ellison officiating. Active pallbearers are Powell Ennis Jr., Griff Ennis, Wes Ennis, Cliff Ennis, Bobby Ellis, and Keith Williams.
