BUDDY HARRIS JR.

Buddy Harris Jr., 75, of Panama City, died December 26, 2008 in his home. He was born May 9, 1933 in Birmingham, Alabama, where he grew up. He had been a resident of Panama City since 1959. He was the owner of Buddy Harris shoes for 43 years. He was a member of the St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church. He was an avid Alabama fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Earl Harris Sr. and Ethel Inez Coe Harris. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Harris, his children, Tony Harris, Sissy Cowart, Frankie Harris and wife Renata, Troy Harris and wife DeeDee, Stephen Harris and wife Cecilee, Craig Harris and wife Lindsay, all of Panama City, ten grandchildren, Nikki Lipford, Brad Harris and wife Kali, Brenton Cowart, Michael Harris, Nicholas Harris, Christina Harris, Joey Harris, Noelle Harris, Cody Harris, Danielle Harris, great-grandson, Ashton Robinson and two sisters, Patricia Stephens and husband Dave of Kenner, Louisiana and Barbara Catches of Pensacola, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday in the St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church with Father Ben Klucinec officiating. Interment will follow in the Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m.
