Brian Joseph Connelly
Brian Joseph Connelly, 43, of Panama City, passed away on December 3, 2013. He was born January 9, 1970 in Washington, D.C.
He was a 1988 graduate of Bishop Ireton High School and a 1993 graduate of Virginia Tech University with a degree in aerospace engineering. He served as a Lieutenant JG in the U.S. Navy. Brian was a member of the First Baptist Church of Panama City
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jana Carswell Connelly and his father, Joseph M. Connelly. He is survived by his mother, Jacqueline Connelly Woodle; mother-in-law, Mrs. James (Carol) Carswell Jr.; sister-in-law, Joy Carswell Winn and children, Creyton and Caroline; maternal grandparents-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. John O. Thomas. Brian is also survived by his extended loving family, Mr. and Mrs. James Calcaterra, Mr. Earnest Hamm, Mr. Gary D. Thomas, Mr. and Mrs. Walter McGuire, Dr. and Mrs. Charles Fulton, Mr. and Mrs. Roger M. Chaffiotte and numerous cousins.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Ellison and Rev. Chris Love officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. A private graveside service at Evergreen Memorial Gardens will precede the funeral service. Contributions in Brian's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
