BOSE McCRARY

The Angels came to take Bose McCrary, 95, of Panama City, home to Heaven on Monday, January 14, 2008. He was born on October 14, 1912 in Jackson County, Florida and had been a resident of Panama City since 1930. He was a Welder at International Paper Company for 40 years, retiring in 1975. He was a member of First Assembly of God. He is preceded in death by two daughters, Juanita Berklite and Nell McCrary, six brothers, Nix McCrary and wife Ruth, Park McCrary and wife Florida, Att McCrary, Neal McCrary and wife Addie, Doug McCrary and wife Palmer, Frank McCrary, sister, Ruth Worthington and husband Zin, and son-in-law, Bobby Wall. He is survived by his wife, Ruth C. McCrary, three sons, James McCrary and wife Hilda, Wayne McCrary and wife, Bonnie, Mike McCrary and wife Pat, two daughters, Carolyn McCrary and Sherry Wall, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the First Assembly of God with Pastor Phil Edwards and Pastor Hilton Foster officiating. Interment will follow in Callaway Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the First Assembly of God from 10 – 11 a.m. on Wednesday prior to the service. Those desiring may make memorial donations to First Assembly of God or to Covenant Hospice. The family would like to send a special thank you to Kelly and Amy of Covenant Hospice for their excellent care.
