Mrs. Bonnie "Maggie" Wheeler passed peacefully at the Covenant Hospice Inpatient Center on December 20, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifton Wheeler, son Stephen Wheeler and sister-in-law Joy Rhodes. Maggie is survived by her children Sharon Marra, son Clifton Wheeler Jr. and his wife Valerie, daughter Angela Jackson and her husband Scott, grandchildren Brenna and Zach McGuire, Christina Horne and her husband Caleb as well as her great-grandchildren Alexis, Sean and Nathan. She graduated from Linden High School; Linden, Alabama then went to Birmingham Business School. Maggie retired after 23 years of employment with the Federal Government. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church, Panama City as well as members of the Eastern Star of Lynn Haven, FL and the Daughters of the Nile. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday, December 28 from 4-6 pm. Services will be held at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 29 at 1pm with interment to follow at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens on Highway 231.
